To create a target for the logic group use the data source panel situated on the right side menu. This will open the data source panel where you can create either a 1) data source as a constant or 2) a calculated data source, similar to Explore.
Data source as a constant
The Constant Data Source is used mainly for targets and baselines. You can select from a list of units available as well as the interval the constant is representative of.
Calculated Data Source
Use this type of DataSource if you need to transform your data before you use it in the logic group.
A breach of this rule that satisfies all of the logic and requisites generates a task.
When creating a watcher, there are task details that can be predefined in advance. If previously known, the impact level, as well as the downtime category, can be defined. The default assignee should be defined here as when the task will be created, the assignee will receive a notification email from CoolPlanetOS.
Important: an email will be sent when the task is created. So a task should be closed, otherwise, all events will be stored under one task and the notification email will not be sent at every event.
CoolPlanetOS has an option that if activated, will send the assignee an email every time an event has been created.
