The new Performance tab on the Opportunity Register replaces a single, static annual estimate with a live, data-driven view of how each opportunity is really performing.
Why this matters
An opportunity's value is only proven once it is delivering. Until now, realised savings were captured as a fixed figure entered by hand, which told you little about how performance was trending, or whether the expected savings were actually materialising. The Performance tab turns that into a living picture that updates on its own.
A live picture of savings over time
At the heart of the Performance tab is the performance period, the window over which savings are monitored. Across that period you get a clear, at-a-glance view of how the opportunity is tracking:
Cumulative and annualised savings that update automatically as new data arrives
Actual against baseline consumption, plotted over time with cumulative savings alongside, so you can see whether savings are being realised
A per-resource breakdown of baseline, actual, cost and carbon savings
A month-by-month record across the full period, for tracking at a granular level
Savings that track themselves
Rather than entering performance figures by hand, you can link a baseline and an actual datasource to an opportunity, and CoolPlanetOS calculates the realised savings for you.
