The impact of the timing of individual opportunities on your overall journey to net zero can be shown through a 'Quick Edit' of the opportunity. Clicking on the coloured flag of the opportunity ID will open a modal where the start date and target date can be edited. Moving the target date will move that opportunity in a highlighted state to the new point in time on the chart, and update your 'Current Trajectory' to show the impact of this change on your decarbonisation journey. The dates of more than one opportunity can be updated at any one time.

When a date is changed using the 'Quick Edit,' two new buttons will appear at the bottom of the chart, 'Review Changes,' or 'Discard Changes.' The opportunity or opportunities are highlighted until the date changes are either saved or discarded. Once saved, updates to dates are reflected in the Opportunity Register and visible to all users with access to the opportunity.

Clicking the ID and title of an opportunity within the 'edit modal,' will open the detailed view of the opportunity.

The detailed view of the opportunity gives additional information and context to each individual opportunity and supports comments and linked dashboards and files.

Please note that any edit saved in the detailed opportunity view will update the opportunity straight away and be visible to all users with access to it, without moving the opportunity to the above highlighted state.
