Understanding what is happening across your datasources shouldn’t require jumping between screens or relying on outdated visualisations. To make data review clearer and more intuitive, we’re introducing a new Visualisation mode directly inside the Datasource List.
This enhancement replaces the legacy grid of single-series charts with a modern, interactive way to explore your data at a glance.
Why This Matters
Operational teams often need to quickly scan multiple datasources to spot issues, compare behaviour or understand how systems are performing. Until now, the existing chart grid was limited, slow to load and inconsistent in how charts appeared.
The updated experience offers:
Instant visual context
See live charts directly within the Datasource List view, so you can understand trends without opening each datasource individually.A cleaner, more consistent interface
The old Chart Grid is now retired, replaced with a streamlined row-by-row view that works the same way across all datasources.More control and flexibility
You can choose to expand individual datasources or enable, 'Show all charts' to reveal every chart in one scrollable view, making it easier to scan for anomalies. Your preference is automatically remembered.
Charts Built Into Each Datasource Row
Each datasource can now be expanded to show:
A time-series line chart using the datasource’s fold
A high-level block summarising the selected time period
A date range and interval selector appears at the top of the list when any chart is expanded, giving you quick control over the view.
Useful Interactions You Already Know
All the existing Datasource List features still work seamlessly, including:
Sorting and searching
Selecting datasources
Comparing datasources
Mouse-over tooltips are also synchronised: hovering on one chart shows the same timestamp across all charts, helping you correlate behaviour quickly.
Real-World Value
These updates make it far easier to:
Spot unusual patterns as you scroll
Verify data quality during investigations
Compare behaviour across multiple feeds
Perform quick, visual diagnostics without opening individual previews
For teams managing complex sites with many meters and sensors, this is a meaningful step forward in usability and efficiency.
The new Visualisation mode is now available in the Datasource List. It’s a faster, cleaner, more intuitive way to explore your data.
