In fast-moving production environments, knowing exactly how much energy each product consumes is no longer a nice-to-have—it’s a competitive advantage. Until now, breaking down energy usage by SKU has been a challenge, leaving many customers relying on external tools for insights. That changes with the launch of Production Line Dashboards, a powerful new way to visualise efficiency at the product level.

Why This Matters

Production Line Dashboards put transparency front and centre. With clear SKU-based reporting, teams can:

  • Understand true production costs – See the energy consumption per tonne or per 1,000 pieces for each SKU, directly in the dashboard.

  • Spot efficiency gaps – Compare SKUs side by side to identify which products are driving higher energy costs.

  • Make smarter decisions, faster – Use data-backed insights to prioritise process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and sustainability efforts.

What You’ll See

Within the new Production Lines tab in Enterprise Dashboards, you’ll be able to:

  • Drill down by production line using a simple drop-down selector to view performance at a granular level.

  • Track headline figures at a glance, including the latest SKU in production, cost per unit, and cost per 1,000 pieces.

  • Analyze energy use trends with daily stacked bar charts showing energy per SKU, plus combo charts that break down total energy into gas and electricity contributions.

  • Compare SKUs in detail with the SKU Summary Table, which lists total energy, material input, and product output per product, helping uncover hidden inefficiencies.

Real-World Value

For manufacturers with multiple production lines, this feature means less time wrangling external data and more time acting on insights. Imagine knowing instantly that a particular SKU costs 15% more energy per tonne than others, or spotting an unexpected energy spike tied to a product run. With that clarity, managers can adjust processes, optimise scheduling, or explore energy-saving measures that directly improve margins.

Ready to See It in Action?

The Production Line Dashboard is now live in Enterprise Dashboards. If you’re managing production lines, this is your chance to gain a new level of visibility and control over operational efficiency.
