Overview

Organise is an interface that provides users with a comprehensive view of all node types across the platform, along with the ability to take action instantly. No more drilling into individual sites to find or update equipment. Everything is now arranged and displayed in a tree structure, allowing for easy and intuitive navigation.

Whether you're tagging Equipment, reviewing Site structures, or making changes in bulk, this feature is built to simplify your workflow, increase transparency, and save time.

Navigating the Table

Quick Filters:

Quick Filters allow you to quickly narrow down the information displayed in the table. You can:

  • Filter by Site Group: Choose to view specific Site Groups or all Site Groups.

  • Filter by Site: Select a specific site or view all sites.

Default View: If you have a home site set, Organise will automatically default to this view when you access the feature. If you don't have a home site configured, or if you change the filters, the table will update to reflect your selected view.

Search by Text:

You can also search the table by typing in text. Any matching text found within the table will be highlighted so you can easily spot your results.

Search by Tag:

You can further refine your filtered table by searching using tags. Simply select one or more tags to narrow down your results.

Manual Click-through:

You can also navigate the tree structure manually using the dropdown arrows on each row. This provides an intuitive way to explore your site's equipment and locate the specific data you're interested in.

Row-level Actions:

Organise provides convenient ways to interact directly with individual items in your tree structure:

  • View Details (Click Row Name): Clicking on any row name will open a side drawer displaying all relevant information for that specific site, equipment, or data source.

  • Contextual Actions (Ellipsis Button): Click the ellipsis (three dots) button on any given row to access a menu of actions specific to that item. These actions, which may include Edit, Delete, or Move, will vary based on the row type and your assigned permission level.

Compare Datasources:

You can easily compare multiple Datasources. Simply select the desired data sources using the checkboxes and then click the "Compare Data Sources" button. This will instantly generate a combo chart that visually displays all your selected data sources.

Need to add more? You can either use the "Add Data Source" button within the comparison view or return to the list and select additional rows.
