When an opportunity is successful in reducing costs and carbon emissions it is important to replicate it across as many sites as possible. To help with this the Duplicate Opportunity feature allows you to duplicate an opportunity across multiple sites.

Duplicating opportunities

To duplicate an opportunity, click on the "Duplicate Opportunity" button in the opportunity modal, this opens the duplicate opportunity modal. The duplicate opportunity modal includes the following:

  • Title: The title of the opportunity being duplicated. This should be editable. This defaults to “Copy of <original opportunity title>”.

  • Sites: A multi select of the sites the opportunity will be duplicated to.

  • Checkbox: A checkbox which allows you to choose if the savings, costs, start date and target date from the original opportunity into the duplicated opportunities. This is defaulted to unticked.

Clicking the “Duplicate Opportunity” button duplicates the opportunity to all of the sites and returns you to the opportunity modal view. The description of the newly duplicated opportunities are prepended with the following text to indicate which was the original opportunity this opportunity was duplicated from: “Copy of <link to original opportunity>”.

The following table illustrates which of the opportunity details are transferred with the duplicate and which are not.
