In the centre is the area where the selected data sources will be added & formatted.
The Format of the Report
The format of the report is outlined in section 1 shown in the image above. This section requires various inputs from the end user.
Add a Report Name
Select the timestamp format (date & time in the same column, or split into different columns)
3. Select the preferred CSV delimiter (depending on the keyboard language, there is either ‘,’ either ‘;’)
4. Select the Decimal separator (depending on the keyboard language, there is can be ‘.’ or ‘,’)
5. Input the value to be outputted in the file if there is no data for that time period

Types of Data Available
On the left-hand side panel, each datasource type has a pictogram associated with it:
Attribute type
Calculation type
Constant type
Boolean type
It is important to ensure you are selecting the correct type of datasource for the export report you are creating.
Create the report content
The available datasources can be searched for using the search filter at the top of the list. This will help search for a specific datasource:
From the list on the left-hand side, drag & drop the data sources of interest into the centre section of the screen. The area will highlight green to show it can be dropped.
Continue adding data sources until the report contains all information required.
Define the content of the data sources
In the centre section, we can define the content of the report.
By adding datasources from the left panel, the information associated with them is automatically populated: quantity, fold & unit.
The fold function and the unit to be applied to the datasource can be changed to the preferred format:
Note that there are pre-built conversion functions to allow for automatic conversion between power <--> energy, mass flow <--> mass, volume flow <--> volume. These are visible in the unit dropdown menu below the specific quantity units.
The precision column refers to the number of decimals after the comma or point, while the x10ⁿ is asking if you would like to see a big number converted into a power of itself.
Also, if you have added a datasource that is not required it can be deleted using the delete action depicted by the dustbin icon.
The position of the data sources can be rearranged by dragging & dropping. The order of the datasources from top to bottom will define the CSV output columns from left to right.
Once the report and datasources have been formatted, the report can be created by clicking on the "Create" tile.
Once it has been created the tile will change from "Create" to "Update". Click cancel to return to the export section:
Click on the "Export" button, then select the date range and interval required for the report.
Then finally click export:
Automatically the export file has been created and is ‘Queued’ for processing.
Click on the ‘Refresh’ button, located close to the ‘Export’ button, to bet an updated status on the progress.
When the status changes to Ready, the green box appears as well as the cloud download button for CSV export:
Once the report format is created, you can define as many date ranges & intervals as are required and continue downloading the file, without the need of recreating the entire format.
