Tip
The grace period for the UAE Maritime Preload Cargo Information (MPCI) Program has been extended until 30 June 2026, and MPCI filings on the CargoX Platform will remain free until that date. We recommend preparing now to familiarise yourself with the process and the platform’s features.
Before you can start using UAE MPCI filing, you are required to connect your CargoX Platform account to your UAE MPCI account. Please follow the steps below:
1. Create a CargoX Platform account
Create a CargoX account by clicking on this link and following the onscreen procedure.
Note
If your company already has an account on the CargoX Platform, simply login to your CargoX account.
2. Connect CargoX account with UAE MPCI system
1. Click on the Application switcher in the top right corner of the CargoX Platform.
2. From the available options, select Filings.
3. Please note that a valid company NAIC-issued MPCI ID is required for filing the UAE MPCI. If you do not have an MPCI ID, click on the Get UAE MPCI ID button or open the link directly and follow the procedure.
4. After you receive the MPCI ID, enter it in the provided field.
Warning
Ensure that the MPCI number entered is accurate, as any discrepancy will result in a failed MPCI filing at later stages and may lead to additional complications.
5. Select the UAE MPCI Operator type from the drop-down menu.
6. Click on the Save button.
Note
Only a company administrator on the CargoX Platform is authorised to connect the MPCI system with the CargoX Platform.
Success
Once saved, the following message will appear on your screen: "Successfully saved UAE MPCI ID: XXXXX"
3. Start filing
Your company has been successfully onboarded. Click on the Start button or visit this article for more information on how to start filing.
