eBL pricing

Tip

Please note that CargoX is offering FREE issuance and transfer of eBLs until the end of 2026.

The eBL transfer fee is a one-time charge per document. This fee is payable by either party in possession of the eBL. If the eBL fee has not been paid by any party, it must be settled by the last party initiating a definitive action, such as requesting surrender for amendment, switching to paper, or requesting surrender for delivery.

The CargoX Platform operates as a pre-paid service. Units (𝕌) are used as payment credit. One (1) CargoX unit (𝕌) is equal to $1 US. Units (𝕌) can be purchased directly through the CargoX Platform.

Buying units

To acquire units on the CargoX Platform, there are several options available:

  • Bank wire transfer (instructions provided here)

  • Credit card (instructions provided here).

EBL pricing structure

For each eBL for which the party pays the eBL fee, discounts are applied based on the number of eBLs transferred within the current month. The counter resets at the beginning of each month.

The cost of transferring eBLs on the CargoX Platform incorporates volume-based discounts. Users from companies who have connected their accounts on a carrier portal and the CargoX Platform can find eBL pricing details in our price list.

Additional charges related to the eBL

Additional charges will be applied for the action Request switch to paper. This charge will be applied on top of the already paid eBL fee, and this action cannot be executed without the original payment of the eBL fee. Users from companies who have connected their accounts on a carrier portal and the CargoX Platform can find the price for this action in our price list.
