Security
Security is at the heart of all activities and solutions at CargoX. CargoX has passed the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification audit, one of the first in Slovenia to do so.
The CargoX Platform undergoes regular penetration testing and security audits by independent parties, at least yearly. CargoX ensures that the outside parties responsible for these are changed regularly, thus ensuring a broader scope of platform coverage.
The CargoX Platform is designed with the highest security in mind. CargoX can never obtain access to the users’ private keys. CargoX also cannot sign, transfer, or authorise a document on a user’s behalf: the User must sign the action with their private key.
All documents on the CargoX Platform are encrypted using the AES-256 encryption.
Tracking
The CargoX Platform offers comprehensive tracking and verification for each document, ensuring a secure and transparent record of its history and authenticity. Every action performed on a document is recorded from the beginning of its lifecycle to the end, detailing who interacted with the document and the target of the action.
All actions related to the eBL are visible in the audit log.
The Audit log can be accessed by clicking on the Audit log once the envelope containing the eBL is opened.
The audit log serves as legally valid proof of title and authenticity, making it a reliable record for legal purposes.
Each transaction is recorded on the blockchain, allowing independent verification via block explorers. These transactions are cryptographically signed instructions that change the blockchain state, with block explorers tracking all transaction details within the network.
The audit log is secure and immutable, using private keys, hashing techniques, and smart contracts. Additionally, while it provides a clear history of each document, it protects sensitive business information, such as the document content and party details, ensuring transparency and confidentiality.
Note
Clicking on the Download button will initiate the download of the eBL along with the audit log. Additionally, clicking on the down arrow symbol next to the Download button will provide you with the option to download only the audit log.
