Managing user access: deactivation and activation

Updated over a week ago

Info

This feature is only available with a Standard plan subscription. Visit the Subscriptions menu to manage your plan.

Company administrators can temporarily suspend user access to the CargoX platform through user deactivation, which preserves all user data and active subscriptions. This feature is ideal for managing temporary access restrictions or employee leaves of absence.

Note

You cannot deactivate your own account, and at least one administrator must remain active in the company at all times.

Step-by-step guide for deactivating a user:

1. Access settings

Go to the gear icon (βš™) | Platform users, and choose the user you want to deactivate.

Success

The user has been deactivated, and their status now reflects this change. When deactivated users try to log in, they will be notified of their status. Any currently logged-in users will be logged out immediately. Their subscription stays active, and all their data remains preserved. The system automatically records all user changes in the Platform users audit log.
