Upgrading or downgrading your subscription plan

Note

  • Companies can upgrade or downgrade their subscription package and change their billing period (yearly/monthly) at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and begin a new billing period. Downgrades become active only after your current subscription period ends.

  • To perform any subscription upgrades or downgrades, users must have administrator permissions.

Upgrading your subscription plan

Follow these steps to upgrade your subscription plan:


1. Select a subscription plan

Go to the gear icon (⚙) | Subscriptions. In the Available plans tab, click the Choose button beneath the subscription plan you want to purchase.

2. Select billing option

Choose one of the two billing options:

  • Billed Monthly: Pay the full subscription price each month.

  • Billed Yearly: Pay once each year and save 10% on your total subscription cost.

Click Pay now to proceed.

By continuing with the payment, you agree to the CargoX Subscriptions Terms and Conditions. Please review these terms before proceeding with your purchase.


3. Choose payment method

Click on the Cards option.

Note

Currently, we only accept credit card payments for subscription upgrades.


4. Enter payment details and complete the purchase

Enter the following credit card details:

  • Card Number

  • Expiry Date

  • Security Code (CVV)

After entering your card details, click the black Pay button to complete your purchase.

Success

Once the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email with your invoice, and your subscription will be upgraded immediately.


Downgrading your subscription plan

Warning

Schedule any downgrades at least one day before your renewal date.

Follow these steps to downgrade your subscription plan:


1. Schedule downgrade

Go to the gear icon (⚙) | Subscriptions. In the Available plans tab, click the Schedule button under the plan you want to downgrade to.

2. Confirm downgrade

Click the red Schedule downgrade button to confirm.

Success

Your downgrade has been scheduled. You can continue using your current subscription until the end of your billing period, after which it will automatically transition to the Basic plan. No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of your current billing period.

Tip

To cancel a scheduled downgrade, go to the gear icon (⚙) in your account and navigate to Subscriptions. Under the Plan overview tab, click the Cancel downgrade button, then confirm by clicking the green Cancel downgrade button.


Upgrading your billing period (monthly to yearly)

Upgrading from monthly to yearly billing is a straightforward process that can help you save 10% on your subscription costs.

Tip

Companies can switch from monthly to yearly billing anytime. The change takes effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the yearly subscription minus the current month's payment.

Step-by-step guide to changing billing period from monthly to yearly:


1. Select yearly option

Click the gear icon (⚙) | Subscriptions. In the Available plans tab, click the toggle switch to select yearly billing. Click the Change to yearly payment button under your chosen plan.

2. Confirm the change

Review the change summary, click the Pay now button, and complete the payment using your credit card—following the same process as a subscription plan upgrade.

Success

Your subscription has been upgraded to yearly billing. A 10% discount has been applied to the annual plan, and the prorated amount for your unused monthly subscription has been deducted.


Downgrading your billing period (yearly to monthly)

When switching from yearly to monthly billing, you will lose the 10% yearly discount and pay the full monthly subscription price instead.

Note

Companies can schedule a switch from yearly to monthly billing anytime, but the change will only take effect when the current billing period ends.

Step-by-step guide to changing billing period from yearly to monthly:


1. Select monthly option

Click the gear icon (⚙) | Subscriptions. In the Available plans tab, click the toggle switch to select monthly billing. Click the Schedule button under your chosen plan.

2. Confirm the change

Review the change summary and click the Schedule downgrade button to confirm.

Success

Your billing period will switch from yearly to monthly. You will keep all your current subscription benefits until your billing period ends. Then, your subscription will automatically switch to monthly billing. Please note that we cannot provide refunds for any unused portion of your annual subscription.
