If an invited user’s email address is not yet registered on CargoX Platform, they will receive an email inviting them to register. The email will include all the instructions on how to create a free account on the CargoX Platform. Before accepting the invitation to connect, they will first have to register a CargoX company account. Once they register, they can follow the procedure for the registered invitees.

If you are already a member of the CargoX Platform, you will get an email and an in-app notification that someone would like to connect with your company.

You are responsible for thoroughly verifying the sender's details! Compare their details, including the name of their contact person, address, email, and phone number, against your address book and information that you have about that person. If you are in doubt, verify data in the real world by calling or emailing the company you received an invitation from.

If you receive an invitation but do not know or do not recognize the sender, or the email or phone numbers seem wrong, you should NOT accept the invitation. Contacts also serve as a basic security and privacy mechanism, preventing identity theft, spam, and spying between competitors. Only connected companies can exchange documents, see their company details, and view each other's public blockchain addresses (but never their private blockchain keys!). Always check whether you know the person and the company you are connecting with. Failing to check might result in sending the documents to the wrong company.

If you want to reject the invitation (if you are positive that you are being invited by scammers/fake companies) you can do that by clicking on the gray Reject invitation button.

If you have accepted the invitation the process is completed and you will see each other's details in your Contacts menu.
