The CargoX Platform users management system offers very granular access rights through the configuration of user privileges and permissions. This enables companies to use the CargoX Platform without the need to change their internal processes and document workflows.
The first user who registers a company is automatically assigned all permissions and is considered an administrator. The administrator can add new users to the company account or manage existing users by assigning specific permissions. If a user is granted all permissions, they will also become a company administrator.
Breakdown of company permissions:
1. Standard envelope permissions
Create standard envelopes and upload documents – Allows the user to create a new standard envelope, upload a new document, or attach a received document from the Inbox. The user will also be allowed to seal the document (and choose the recipient), but will not be allowed to initiate the transfer.
Transfer standard envelopes – Allows the user to transfer the standard envelope and to perform advanced functions, such as accomplish/release cargo, destroy documents, clear history, etc.
2. ACI envelope permissions
Create ACI envelopes and upload documents – Allows the user to create a new ACI envelope, upload a new document, or attach a received document from the Inbox. The user will also be allowed to seal the document, but will not be allowed to initiate the transfer.
Transfer ACI envelopes – Allows the user to transfer the ACI envelope.
3. Company permissions
Permissions for the administration of your company CargoX account and to manage users and finance.
Administrator access – This role allows the user to add new users, manage their permissions and rights, remove users from the company, and update company details. Users with this role are automatically assigned all other permissions, as they are considered administrators of the account.
Blockchain key management – This role grants the ability to activate and deactivate users' blockchain keys.
Legal representative – This setting is intended for users with the authority to represent their company and accept the CargoX Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions are legally binding for the company.
Manage company finance – Allows the user to buy units (𝕌) and view company balance.
Manage company network – Allows the user to manage company network. The user can invite companies and change settings inside company network.
4. Contacts permissions
Connect with other companies – Allows the user to establish connections with other companies on the CargoX Platform on behalf of his company. This includes sending out invitations to other companies and accepting the received invitations from other companies.
5. Rules permissions
Manage workflow rules – This role allows the user to manage rules which are triggered by events on the platform (e.g. envelope received).
6. Delegation permissions

Transfer delegated ACI envelopes – Allows the user to transfer the delegated ACI envelope.
7. Document permissions
Manage documents – This role allows the user to manage documents inside the documents application. The user can create, edit, archive, restore, and duplicate the documents.
Warning
If the user is not permitted to send envelopes, the user will still have read-only access to the company's account. The user can still view all documents in all folders. The user will also be able to download any document, but will not be able to do anything else with it.
