When do I use tasks and when do I use comments?

In caralegal there are specific use cases for tasks and comments:

Tasks

  1. Use the “Task” function if you want to create a specific task and assign it to a user. You can add a due date and all relevant details or instructions.

  2. The assigned user then receives a notification about the new task and can view and edit it in their task overview (feature tasks).

Comments

  1. Comments are intended for simple questions or comments.

  2. Users can be marked using the “@” sign.

  3. They could also be used as a personal, digital notepad.

  4. They are not particularly suitable for critical tasks, as no due dates or priorities can be assigned, for example. Use tasks for this instead.
