A large number of uncategorized data types after import is due to new data types being imported that were not previously categorized in your data structure. Often, the data category information is missing.

Caralegal requires three levels of personal data:

  1. Group of People (e.g., Employees)

    1. Data Category (e.g., Master Data)

      1. Data Type (e.g., Name)

To address this issue, you can take the following steps:

  1. Merge Duplicates:

    1. Review the uncategorized data types for potential duplicates. Merge them to reduce the data volume.

  2. Create New Categories:

    1. If necessary, create new data categories that better fit the imported data types.

  3. Categorize Data Types:

    1. Use the drag-and-drop or move function to assign the uncategorized data types to the appropriate categories, effectively organizing the data.

By following these steps, you can structure the uncategorized data types in a meaningful way and restore clarity in caralegal.
