Assigning the correct organizational unit
If a new user is created, you have the option of assigning
organizational units and
additional organizational units
These units regulate all visibility and editing options for the user within caralegal.
Users always have the option of seeing entries for
their own unit and
all subordinate units
The user shown here has access to
Caratraining > Cara GmbH > Marketing
As well as all units that may be located under Caratraining > Cara GmbH > Marketing
Important
Organizational units and
Other organizational units
Have 100% equal rights within a user. They could also have been kept as a list. To indicate a main affiliation, we decided to go with two selection fields.

Users who hold the unit of the responsible organizational unit shown here receive read access and write access to the entries/documents.
Additional organizational units
Users who own the additional organizational units shown here only receive read access to the entry/document.

can be transferred to ALL features.
