The scrolling mode determines whether your participants move through the slides at their own pace or follow the facilitator. You can set and change it from your slideshow settings.

Self-paced scrolling lets participants move through the slides independently. As long as the session is open, participants can join whenever they choose and take part in activities at their own pace.

Changing the scrolling mode can have several consequences: recorded Quiz activities are deleted, votes on Board activities are removed, and activities in general are reset, leaving the session empty of contributions.

How do I change my session's scrolling mode?

Click Settings on the left side of your screen, select Live scrolling or Self-paced scrolling in the General section, then click Save.

What happens if I change the scrolling mode during a session?

Recorded Quiz activities are deleted, votes on Board activities are removed, and activities are reset: the session becomes empty of contributions again.

How do I display results in real time?

Click Settings at the top left of your slideshow, then in the General section, choose to display results in real time instead of only at the end of the session.
