How to Add a Matrix Activity
Click Add a slide at the top left of your session.
Scroll down the menu until you see the Matrix activity and click on it.
The activity is integrated into your presentation; it is saved automatically and appears as a slide in the navigation bar on the left. An editing panel appears automatically on the right-hand side of your screen.
Customize the Title and Instructions
The title defaults to the activity's name. Delete it and enter your own question or a custom title.
Add an instruction to give more details about the activity (optional).
Choose the Activity Format
Two formats are available:
Grid: you can add a colour gradient or not.
Quadrant: you can choose the colour and assign a name to each unit of the quadrant.
You can also rename the axes.
Enter the items to be assessed (between 2 and 20 items).
Click Add a proposal to add new items.
Click the bin icon to delete an item.
💡Good to know
All deletions are final.
Set Up Display and Results
Choose whether to display the number of participants live.
Choose how results are displayed: in real time (Live) or all at once at the end of the activity.

Start and Manage the Activity
In Live mode, the facilitator controls the slide navigation: a button lets you launch the activity and make it available to your participants.
Click Start, at the top right, to launch the Matrix activity.
Click Stop, at the top right, to make it unavailable to your participants.
To participate, participants click, drag and drop the elements onto the matrix according to the axes. Points are placed on the matrix in real time based on participants' choices. They must click Submit to save their answer.
Manage Activity Options
At any time, you can:
Reset the activity.
Edit the activity.
Duplicate the activity.
Delete the activity.
Alternatively, click the "Edit" button in the toolbar on the right side of the session.

What's the difference between the grid and the quadrant?
With the grid, you can add a colour gradient or not. With the quadrant, you can choose the colour and assign a name to each unit.
How many items can I assess in a Matrix?
You can enter between 2 and 20 items to be assessed.
Can I delete an item after adding it?
Yes, by clicking the bin icon. This action is final and cannot be undone.
How do participants answer the activity?
They click, drag, and drop the elements onto the matrix according to the axes, then click Submit to save their answer.
Are results displayed in real time?
It depends on the setting you choose: you can display results live or all at once at the end of the activity.
