This Guide will show you how to see if a home has booked in stock that you have dispensed to them.
You can skip steps 2-5 by pressing the F9 key and searching for the resident using the format “(SURNAME) (FIRST NAME)” If you wish to make sure you have the right resident then please follow steps 2-5.
2. Go to the search tab at the top of CAPA.
3. Go to my care home and select the home that has the medication you want to check.
4. Select the home you wish to check by double clicking.
5. Double click on the resident you wish to view and click “Details” Next to their name highlighted in yellow on the right-hand side of the screen.
6. You will be taken to the resident’s profile. From here click on their Repeat Med.
7. Double click on the medication you want to check.
8. Click on the PCS tab.
9. Here you will see “Booked in Pharmacy” it will show if the home has booked the item in with the date and which user has booked it in. (as seen below) If this has not been booked in by the home then there will be no entry. (Please bear in mind that previous entries will still show so make sure you check the date on the left side to see that this is the correct medication.)
Please bear in mind, if a home has booked in an item without using the barcode it will be shown as “Booked in manually.”
