To reduce the risk of creating duplicate medication profiles for residents, we’ve updated the “Add Drug” feature within the app. Now, when you try to add a medication that the resident is already taking, you will be presented with a warning message.
Some things to note about this feature:
• You will not be able to continue to add a medication if it is identified that the resident is already taking the same medication.
• From version 9.0.14 and above the "add drug" function will become an online only feature, an Internet connection will be required to add a new medication via the Atlas App to ensure the relevant safety checks can be completed.
