How to set up an approval step

Approval steps define the sequence in which requests are reviewed and approved. You can add as many steps as needed

This is how you setup approval steps:

  • In the main menu, select your Organisation and open the "Approval Workflows" page under "Workflows and settings" section:​

  • Select one of the predefined workflows, or set up a stand-alone workflow.

  • In the workflow, use the + STEP button to add as many approval steps as needed:

  • Rename steps to match your internal naming conventions:

  • Add the Approvers clicking ADD AN APPROVER for each step by selecting them from the drop-down list of users, or add new users by typing in their email address.

  • If needed, define conditions for each step so Approvers are only triggered under specific criteria.​

  • Once complete, activate the workflow using the UPDATE THE WORKFLOW button.

Please note: Each request must pass through all defined steps to be fully approved.
