What is happening?
The Budget Optimiser is unable to generate any modeling or recommendations because it cannot find any spending or performance data across your connected ad accounts for the chosen lookback period (e.g., the last 7, 14, or 30 days).
Error: All ad accounts are empty for the lookback period, nothing to model.
Why did this happen?
This error typically occurs when there is a complete disconnect between the Budget Optimiser and your active advertising data. Common causes include:
Inactive Ad Accounts: The connected accounts have $0 spend during the specific lookback period you have selected.
Disconnected Connectors: The individual platform connectors (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn) are currently in an error state or have expired credentials, preventing data flow.
New Account Warm-up: You have connected a brand-new ad account that hasn't started spending or hasn't had enough time to sync its first day of data to Alvie.
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Navigate to Settings: Open the Connectors tab in your Alvie dashboard.
Locate the Source: Identify all ad accounts (Meta, Google Ads, etc.) that are supposed to be feeding data into the Budget Optimiser.
Action: * Check Connector Health: Ensure all relevant connectors show a Healthy (Green) status. If any are red, click Reconnect or Update Credentials.
Verify Spend: Log in to the native ad platforms (e.g., Ads Manager) and confirm that there was actual spend recorded during your Alvie lookback period.
External Steps: If you recently resumed paused campaigns, you may need to wait 24 hours for the platform APIs to refresh and for Alvie to pull the latest spend data.
Verify: Return to the Budget Optimiser and check the Detailed Status view. If the accounts are now showing data, the error will clear, and the status will turn Healthy (Green).

Maintain Active Connections: Periodically visit the Data Sources page to proactively refresh any credentials that are nearing expiration.
Lookback Alignment: Ensure your Budget Optimiser's "Lookback Period" aligns with your active campaign dates (e.g., don't set a 7-day lookback if you only started spending yesterday).
