Bet errors and settlement issues

This article should be read together with the Sports Rules and Betting Terms and Conditions.

AlphiBet is not responsible for delays, errors or losses caused by the failure, interruption or malfunction of hardware, software, internet connections or other communication services, except where responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.

AlphiBet will take reasonable steps to address these issues but cannot guarantee that they will always be resolved.

Transactions affected by a technical failure or service interruption may be cancelled or void in accordance with the Betting Terms and Conditions.

If an obvious error affects the odds, market, selection or another condition of a bet, the affected bet will normally be void.

In some circumstances, the bet may be corrected or settled differently in accordance with the Betting Terms and Conditions.

If your bet is affected, we will update its settlement and may contact you.

If a technical failure or delay prevents prices or markets from being updated, suspended or closed correctly, a bet accepted after the relevant outcome is known will be treated as a late bet.

The affected bet will be void and the stake returned.

If an obvious pricing error occurs during in-play betting, AlphiBet may void the affected bets and return the stakes.

A bet accepted after the advertised or official start time will be void unless it was placed on an available in-play market.

If AlphiBet cannot continue offering in-play betting because pictures or event data become unavailable, bets already accepted will remain valid.

These bets will be settled after the event has been completed and the official result is known, subject to the applicable Sports Rules.

AlphiBet takes reasonable steps to prevent the same event from being listed more than once.

If a duplicate event is displayed and both listings are included in the same Parlay, Accumulator or other Multiple Bet, the entire bet will be void. It will not be settled as separate single bets.

AlphiBet may correct an obvious error and resettle an affected bet using the correct odds, market conditions or settlement terms.

If a bet is resettled, your account balance will be updated to reflect the corrected result.

Where permitted under the Betting Terms and Conditions, AlphiBet may offset a positive account balance against an amount owed because of a resettlement, payment error or other correction.

Internet connection delays may cause a video stream to be behind the live event or out of sync with other event information.

Video streams, scoreboards, clocks and other live information are provided as a guide only. They must not be relied upon when placing a bet and will not be used as the basis for bet settlement.

Bets are settled using the official result and applicable Sports Rules.

Although we take reasonable steps to settle bets quickly and correctly, settlement errors may occasionally occur.

Before contacting Customer Service, check the following.

When a winning bet is placed using Sports Bonus Funds, the promotional stake is not returned with the winnings.

A Rule 4 deduction may apply to eligible horse racing bets when a horse is withdrawn from a race.

Check the bet description in My Bets or Bet History.

For example, confirm whether you selected the result for the entire event or for a specific period, half, set or quarter.

If you still believe your bet has been settled incorrectly, contact Customer Service.

Have your Bet ID ready so that we can identify and review the bet. If a settlement error is confirmed, your bet and account balance will be corrected.
