What Are Webhooks and What Are They For?

Webhooks are a method of modifying or extending the behavior of a callback function — something typically better understood by IT professionals.

How Can Webhooks Help You with AdOpt?

This feature is available to streamline workflows for handling data subject rights requests, such as Download and Opt-out.

Through the opt-out page, AdOpt allows users to submit the requests mentioned above. These requests are sent to the DPO's email (a field that can be configured within the opt-out section).

This Is Where Webhooks Come In!

With webhooks, you can receive these requests directly into your system. This way, the DPO or the company does not need to wait for or monitor these requests via email and can instead have a more automated workflow by integrating them into their system.

Check out our Webhooks documentation here.
