What types of consent are stored?

Written by AdOpt Support

We classify consents into two categories:

  • Total: When all Tags are 100% accepted and no adjustments are made by the visitor.

  • Partial: When there is an exclusion/blocking of any Tag by the visitor.

Consent Logs

Consent:

Full Acceptance of Cookies, Tags, and Local Storage (similar to the term Opt-in).

Rejected:

Partial Acceptance or Total Rejection of Cookies, Tags, and Local Storage. In other words, some of them were accepted and some were rejected.

Anonymous Access:
Full Acceptance, Partial Acceptance, or Total Rejection of Cookies, Tags, and Local Storage, but without the possibility of identifying the website visitor.

Anonymous access may occur in two situations:

  • Access through private browsing windows;

  • The visitor did not interact with the Cookie Banner (did not click any button on it).

You can read more about Consent Logs in this tutorial.
