⏳ Professional Discussion Timelines and Guidance

C
Written by Christopher Wootton

To ensure the Professional Discussion can be planned and conducted successfully, the following timelines must be met:

2 Weeks Before the Professional Discussion

  • The learner's project evidence must be uploaded to EAL via the Smarter Booking portal no less than two weeks prior to the Professional Discussion date.

  • This allows the external assessor sufficient time to review the evidence and prepare for the assessment.

5 Working Days Before the Professional Discussion

  • Learners must be given at least five working days' notice before their Professional Discussion.

  • This provides adequate time for preparation and any necessary arrangements, such as travel.

Before the Assessment Takes Place

  • The external assessor must review the project evidence and plan the Professional Discussion.

  • Learners must be informed of their right to appeal assessment decisions.
