To ensure the Professional Discussion can be planned and conducted successfully, the following timelines must be met:
2 Weeks Before the Professional Discussion
The learner's project evidence must be uploaded to EAL via the Smarter Booking portal no less than two weeks prior to the Professional Discussion date.
This allows the external assessor sufficient time to review the evidence and prepare for the assessment.
5 Working Days Before the Professional Discussion
Learners must be given at least five working days' notice before their Professional Discussion.
This provides adequate time for preparation and any necessary arrangements, such as travel.
Before the Assessment Takes Place
The external assessor must review the project evidence and plan the Professional Discussion.
Learners must be informed of their right to appeal assessment decisions.
