Once an apprentice has successfully completed their End-Point Assessment (EPA) and the final results have been confirmed, the process to issue the apprenticeship certificate will begin.
Certificate Claim Process
After results have been released, the certificate will be claimed within 20 working days
EAL does not issue apprenticeship certificates directly
An EPA Coordinator will submit a claim to the Apprenticeship Assessment Service (AAS) on behalf of the learner
This is the official body responsible for producing and issuing apprenticeship certificates
Delivery of Certificates
Once the certificate has been claimed, delivery can take up to 15 working days
The certificate will be sent to the address listed in the learner’s profile on ACE360
Updating the Delivery Address
If the delivery address needs to be amended:
Providers should update the details in ACE360 prior to the certificate being claimed
Guidance on how to do this can be found here:

Important Considerations
Delays may occur if learner details are incomplete or incorrect
Providers should ensure all information in ACE360 is accurate before certificate claim
Once the claim has been submitted, changes to the delivery address must be submitted via email so that a new delivery request can be raised with the AAS
