Who should a learner contact regarding an assessment booking?

For any queries or issues relating to an End-Point Assessment (EPA) booking, learners should follow the appropriate communication channels to ensure a quick and accurate response.

First Point of Contact: Training Provider

  • Learners should always contact their training provider in the first instance

  • The training provider is the main point of contact and will:

    • Have the most up-to-date information about the learner’s progress and booking

    • Be in communication with EAL

    • Be able to answer most queries or escalate them where necessary

EAL will keep training providers informed of booking updates, so they are best placed to support the learner.

Contacting EAL Directly

In certain circumstances, learners may need to contact EAL directly:

  • If the learner needs to cancel or reschedule an assessment, they can email EPA Operations

  • EPA Operations will then:

    • Review the request

    • Liaise with the assessor

    • Arrange an alternative date where applicable

Best Practice

  • Learners should keep their training provider informed of any issues or changes

  • Requests to cancel or reschedule should be made as early as possible to avoid delays or disruption
