What should a learner do if the assessment meeting link cannot be found, or is not working?

If a learner is unable to locate or access the link for their remote End-Point Assessment (EPA), there are several steps they should take to resolve the issue quickly and avoid delays.

Step 1: Check Email Folders

  • The learner should first check their junk or spam folders, as meeting invites can occasionally be filtered incorrectly

  • The invite is usually sent via Outlook, so it may also appear in the calendar rather than the main inbox

Step 2: Contact Employer or Training Provider

  • If the link still cannot be found, the learner should:

    • Contact their employer or training provider

  • Both parties are typically included as optional attendees on the meeting invite and can:

    • Forward the original invite

    • Share the meeting link directly

Step 3: Contact EAL

If the issue is not resolved:

  • The learner can contact EAL directly

  • An EPA Coordinator will:

    • Locate the booking

    • Re-send the meeting invite with the correct link

Important Considerations

  • Learners should aim to resolve any issues before the scheduled assessment time

  • If there are technical issues on the day, they should notify their provider or EAL as soon as possible

  • Ensuring access to the meeting link is essential to avoid delays or missed assessments
